To get to Poland Market Hohenwutzen by car, simply follow the B 158 federal road in the direction of Bad Freienwalde to Hohenwutzen. The border crossing and Chojna as the next bigger place in Poland are signposted. Only 100m after the Oder bridge you will find the Poland Market Hohenwutzen on the left side.

Parking
There are more than 800 free and lighted parking spaces on the premises of Poland Market Hohenwutzen. The parking spaces are signposted on site and on our Market plan drawn in.
Border crossing/Oder bridge
Poland is a member of the Schengen Agreement. Therefore, since 21.12.2007 there are no more border controls. You do not need a "green insurance card" for your vehicle.
The crossing of the border crossing Hohenwutzen is allowed for vehicles with a permissible total weight of 7.5 tons. This also gives tradesmen with their small trucks the opportunity to refuel inexpensively with us. The crossing for buses is allowed without restrictions.
Please note that in Poland the dipped headlights or daytime running lights must be switched on all year round.
Refueling/charging station

A shuttle bus runs three times a day between Berlin and Poland Market Hohenwutzen.

Stop S-Bahnhof Ahrensfelde (S7)
The bus stop is located directly on the Märkische Allee/B158 on the side of the road heading out of town. Coming from the S-Bahn station Ahrensfelde, cross the street and walk below the pedestrian bridge for about 30m in the direction of Marzahn.
Stop Werneuchen, Ambulatorium
The covered bus stop with seating is located directly on Freienwalder Straße/B158 on the side of the road towards Bad Freienwalde.
Stop Poland Market Hohenwutzen
The bus stop where you get on and off is signposted accordingly and is located directly at Polenmarkt Hohenwutzen, not far from the blue petrol station. The bus stop has a roof, weather protection and benches. As a passenger, you will receive a daily free coffee at the blue service station on presentation of your ticket. (see Market plan)

Departure Berlin Central Station
The journey to the Poland Market Hohenwutzen is also possible by public transport from Berlin. The RE3 leaves every hour every day from Berlin Hauptbahnhof, in Eberswalde you change to the RB60 to Bad Freienwalde. From Bad Freienwalde, the RB60 returns to Berlin via Eberswalde every hour, the last departure is at 22:18.
Between Bad Freienwalde (train station) and Hohenwutzen (village) Bus 873 runs several times a day (Mon-Sat, not on Sundays or holidays). The trip takes about 20 minutes. From the bus stop Hohenwutzen (village) it is about 8 minutes walk to Poland Market Hohenwutzen.

To visit the Poland Market Hohenwutzen by bike, follow the regional bike route Historic Town Centers - Route 1 from the S-Bahn station Berlin Hoppegarten via Strausberg, Wriezen and Bad Freienwalde directly to Hohenwutzen, the distance is about 75km. Coming from the northwest, the approach is also possible via this bike route, for example from Templin or Angermünde.
Alternatively, we recommend the route from Berlin center suggested here by komoot, which is somewhat shorter:
Directly through Hohenwutzen runs the approximately 630km long Oder-Neisse cycle path (D12), which stretches from the Czech Republic always river and border to the Baltic Sea.
