Directly through Hohenwutzen runs the approximately 630km long Oder-Neisse Cycle Route (D12)which stretches from the Czech Republic always river and border to the Baltic Sea.
The regional cycle route Historic Town Centers - Route 1 connects Berlin via Strausberg - Wriezen - Bad Freienwalde with the Polish market Hohenwutzen.
Bicycle tourism in the Oderbruch
One of the absolute highlights for bicycle tours in the Oderbruch is the Europe Bridge between Neurüdnitz and Siekierki, which is only accessible for pedestrians and cyclists.
The former railroad bridge was ceremoniously opened in 2022 after two years of renovation at a cost of 5.4 million euros and the addition of a viewing platform.
